Petroleum Engineering is the economic extraction of oil and gas or other resources from the land. Producing oil and gas is accomplished through the design, drilling and operation of wells and oil well systems, as well as the integrated management of underground reservoirs where resources are housed.

The mission of our training is to create, preserve, integrate, transfer and apply the science of petroleum engineering to increase the human capabilities of oil professionals.

Training aims :
Graduates must be competitive in the international market and be able to continue their studies if they wish.

The curriculum includes:

Design and analysis of well systems and procedures for drilling and completing oil wells;

Characterization and evaluation of sub-surface geological formations and their resources;

System design and analysis to produce, inject and manage fluids;

Applying the principles of tank system management to optimize the development and management of resources;

Use valuation methods and economic management of projects to design and make decisions under uncertain conditions and at risk;
